Well its september 2009 nearly 1 year after our last post and I am very sory to say The darwin Casino bashing has not had any sort of progress we have had a few people contact use with suspect and we forward them onto the police. Currently we are in Limbo so please keep trying to Identify this fellow.

Basically i wanted to give you an update as to what we have heard from the casino over this NOTHING this is a sorry state off affairs considering the guards were meters away and it happened at the front doors.

Well readers it has been most dissapointing that I have been unable to find the person that seriously bashed me at darwin casino on that fatefull saturday morning. Everybody has put in a great effort except skycity darwin casino, despite having the most up to date survielance equipment in darwin they still have not provided me a clear shot of the mans face for my website and flyers.

It seems they don’t want to help, which is a very sad situation because they are a favoured establishment in darwin. Being situated on mindil beach they have a central location and are visited by many local residents.

I have heard rumors that the said peson is still patronising the casino, but this cannot be proven please if you see him there call or email.

Currerntly I still have not heard from the casino in Appology or any other reason which is a very, very sad situation, but one they do not seem to concerned about.

Sex Shop breaking is more important

Hi readers yet another quick blob about my darwin casino bashing. Heres something thats shows the power of darwin casino to keep “out of the news”. Recently after my bashing a sex shop in darwin was broken into after hours, this happened on a tuesday and it was on chanel 9 news on a thurday.

That is not even 3 days and video footage of the incedent is on TV (WOW SO QUICK) so that people can help identify a perpetrator. But with a serious bashing that has been brushed under the carpet because of “creative reporting” and privacy laws which you can find out about on this website.

The Darwin Casino has stayed out of the news and the person is still at large, althogh Many people have come forward with helpfull identification we are still no closer.

So please keep helping us so that we can catch this perpetrator !!

Please note that the Privacy Act (1988)(Cth) (the Act) does not deal directly with the issue of film recording. Information on privacy regulations regarding video surveillance and film recording in the states and territories can be found at: http://www.privacy.gov.au/privacy_rights/laws/index.html.

The casino, if covered by the Act, needs to allow your sister access to her own personal information, unless it would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of other individuals. I have provided further information about this below.

The Act contains 10 National Privacy Principles (NPPs) which regulate the way in which personal information is handled by many private sector organisations.

Images of individuals in film are treated as personal information where the person’s identity is clear or can reasonably be worked out from that image.

The NPPs apply to:

• all private sector organisations with an annual turnover of more than $3 million

• all private health service providers

• businesses which trade in personal information without consent, irrespective of turnover.

If the casino you mention fits one of these descriptions, the NPPs will apply to their handling of personal information.

NPP 6.1 states that if an organisation holds personal information about an individual, it must provide the individual with access to the information on request by the individual, unless one of the exceptions listed under NPP 6.1 applies. The exceptions include where providing access would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of other individuals. The casino may be relying on this exception to deny your sister access to her personal information.

In addition, NPP 6.7 states that if the organisation refuses to give this information they must provide reasons for denial of access.

If you consider that an organisation covered by the Act has not handled your sister’s personal information in a manner that complies with the NPPs, she may make a complaint, or you may make a complaint on her behalf. To do this, you will need to complain in writing to the casino in the first instance, and allow it 30 days to respond to your complaint. If they do not respond, or if the response is unsatisfactory, the complaint may be forwarded to this Office.

Interest Growing

Well every one, my crusade is growing in populartity, I have been contacted by a few media outlets wanting to run this story some of them want me to go on air, but truthfully what good is this without a piture of the guy who bashed me at the casino.

The casino has massive cameras in every nook and cranny, but do not offer anything, thats a no still silence, did they offer clear images to the police, not that we know off the police have to request everything. Meanwhile the person who perpitrated the darwin casino bashing is running free.

To day I am going to contact Aus Lobby for some government contacts so I can ask them to help me in my quest.

They have collected all the contact information which is freely available and put it online in one file if you want to get the NT Parliament contact details the same as I use then download it here there is a small $4.95 charge to pay for there time collecting and collating and tracking the downloads.

I will let you know how my list goes…..
